California Christmas

As they talk of LOTS of snow in the mid-west and back east, I must share what our Christmas will be like this year. We went to Coronado today to have lunch with Santa at the Hotel Del. Afterwards we took the girls to play down on the beach. It was a perfect day not a cloud in the sky. We had such a wonderful time. I love my family and I love America's Finest City especially in the winter time!

We took the girls to see Santa tonight, we had to bribe Kylie and she barely went near him, this is the best we could do. This is my 2 headed daughter :)

Shower

Today my mom and sister had a WONDERFUL baby shower for me. It was simply amazing. From the food to the cake to all my wonderful friends, it was a day I will always remember. It was a blue and brown polk-a-dot theme, my favorite. I had such a great time with all of my friends and family. What a true blessing!!

The BIG 3-0....

Well Mark and I both turned 30 this October, we didn't have a HUGE party like I had wanted to since I am cooking this sweet boy, maybe for 31. Anyways we went to a couple concerts with friends to celebrate, had an amazing time at both. For my birthday we went and saw Jason Mraz and for Mark's we went to a $5 country concert and saw some great country acts. Anyways much thanks and love to all of our friends and family for helping us celebrate our super special days!

Halloween Pictures

Here are some pictures from Halloween this year. We had a wonderful Halloween, visiting my mom and dad as well as my grandma Polly. The weather was nice and warm so it ended up being a perfect day. Enjoy the pictures of my sweet girls.

Pumpkin Patch

Today Mark and I went with Sam's class to the pumpkin patch. We took Kylie also and had so much fun. Perfect "fall" weather, about 70 degrees with a bit of a breeze. The pumpkin patch was not crowded at all. It was a perfect day! Fall is in the air.

Country Girls

Well this past Friday Sam and I went down to the concert and met Mr Brad Paisley himself. We had a wonderful time. Sam was beside herself with excitement. She loved getting ready and having all the other concert go-ers say how cute she was. We sat and listened to the opening act and then it came time to get ready to go backstage. She loved meeting all the other kids from the contest. I was in awe of all that goes on backstage at a concert and all the people who work behind the scenes. They told us we would each have just a moment with Brad, it was a very quick blur, but a great one at that. He called Sam a "sweet cowgirl", and I thanked him for taking the time to meet the children, really I meant myself :).




We had a WONDERFUL time together, Sam fell asleep about 20 minutes into the concert but I enjoyed singing along, he also played Sam's video during his concert. Great night one we will not soon forget!
